Bungie’s Joe Blackburn makes us a promise: “we have tricks up our sleeves” for The Final Shape, the long-awaited (and postponed) DLC for Destiny 2
Following the rumors about pre-orders, as you already know by now Bungie he preferred postpone the DLC originally scheduled for February, Destiny 2: The Final Shape. What you may not know, however, is that beyond the contents we will discover much more about the game in April. The (vague) promise comes from the director’s video Joe Blackburnwhich we have included below and includes soctotitles in Italian. “We know you have high expectations,” Blackburn begins. The development team envisions “wonderful new locations” and “new enemies to fight in equally new ways,” as well as “a story that rivals the best our studio has ever told.” Ambitions, so far, completely normal. Yet there is much we don’t know, and Blackburn is aware of this.

Towards the end of the video, Blackburn talks about how the team has “cards up their sleeves”. “And I ask you to hold on just a little longer, because there is gameplay you need to see, rather than just hear the description of it.” For this reason, as we have already said, the appointment is not before the next one April, when the game will “speak for itself.” In the next adventures that await them, players will have to deal with locations that are initially familiar, but then evidently distorted. The DLC will then offer a more open game world, in which to play with the various activities to complete. We will not fail to keep you updated.
