Doogee announces a new arrival to its S series. The global launch of the Doogee S98 rugged phone is expected in late March. What makes Doogee S98 amazing is adopting an attractive dual screen design. In addition to the main display, the phone will have a unique round rear smart display. The rear display background is customizable using any image of your choice. You can use it to look at the time, to check the music, to check the battery levels and to view a lot of other information.
Doogee S98: the features
The new S98 will be based on the SoC Helio G96 by MediaTek with a clock speed of 2.05 GHz. The octa-core processor is matched well 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. The memory can be expanded using a micro SD card. We can expect great performance even in the heaviest applications as MediaTek G96 is a processor designed for an incredible gaming experience.
The phone will come with a 6.3-inch FHD + LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The top of the phone will have a small hole to accommodate the 16MP front camera. On the back of the phone is present a 3-sensor camera, positioned around the rear display. A 64MP sensor adorns the main camera, supported by a 20MP night vision camera and an 8MP wide angle camera. High autonomy is guaranteed by one 6000mAh battery which can be charged by the 33W fast charger included in the package. The Doogee S98 also supports a 15W wireless charger. The Doogee S98 will have a stock Android 12 operating system from day one, with the company confirming at least 3 years of security updates and Android version updates. As you can imagine, Doogee S98 as a good rugged phone boasts a grade of IP69K splash and dust protection. This means you can go for a swim or wash your phone in the shower. It is MIL-STD-810G certified, which means it should perform well in extreme weather conditions.

Other features include NFC, Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.1, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and many other features.
