If there is no fuss, when in doubt go for microtransactions: those of Dragon's Dogma 2 are causing total chaos in the last few hours
The reviews of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Steam are not the plebiscite where Capcom he hoped, but then again the 21 separate purchases for the same number of DLCs on day one means microtransactions they turned out to be a rather unfortunate choice. The reason is what the “extra contents” consist of: in fact, they are basic features that can normally be obtained for free. An example above all, the Art of Metamorphosis, translates into the very banal change of hairstyles. Capcom later clarified that it is actually, as often happens in cases like this, a “time saver” to comply with the rarity of the in-game element and its difficult obtaining. The other elements that can be purchased are, for example, immediate respawns after a defeat at the end of a long battle. The complaint, however, is in (not very) good company.

Is it any wonder why the game’s getting Mostly Negative on Steam right now? pic.twitter.com/EHjAMvEhrT

Galeotte were the microtransactions, and Dragon's Dogma 2 which implemented them
As you can see above, in addition to the seventy cubes required and the microtransactions, Dragon's Dogma 2 has increased the cost for PC users by including the controversial anti-piracy software Denuvo. Given the priority that Denuvo is infamous for giving to the threat of counterfeiting at the clear detriment of performance, the game's reviews plummeted into the abyss of “mostly negative” on Steam before stabilizing in the middle. The buyers ofDeluxe Edition they can benefit from nine out of 21 DLCs, otherwise obtainable separately for 15 dollars. Capcom plans to make the price of the base game its new standard following the increase in development costs in the sector. Too bad, after all this hype: last year, Capcom was the most praised publisher on Metacritic.
