Dune – Part 2 has chosen the Bel Paese to carry out some shooting in Veneto in the coming weeks: let’s see which films will have scenes from the Italian summer
Dune – Part 2 is a much anticipated film in 2023 that makes us understand how many international film productions (see Mission: Impossible, Star Wars, Angels and Demons) systematically choose the wonderful landscapes made available by Italy.
The first title that will show some of the Italian beauties is the aforementioned Dune – Part 2, a Treviso; instead between RomaFregene and Trieste will visit us Charlize Theron with the filming of the highly anticipated sequel The Old Guard 2. Between Puglia, Basilicata e Roma instead they will take place under the direction of Angelina Joliefilming of Without Blood, film based on the novel by Alessandro Baricco. Shooting of the Eternal City has also begun Historya Rai miniseries of 8 episodes taken from the masterpiece of the same name by Elsa Morante.

The Italian tour continues in Parma con Marco Bellocchio (incensed in Cannes for his Outside Night) with his latest work entitled The Conversionbased on the true story of Edgardo Mortara; a Sanremo you might come across Daniel Bruhl and Riccardo Scamarcio struggling with 2Win, inspired by the 1983 World Rally Championship; to Bellagiounder the frame of Lake Como, Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo I’m working on their latest film effort, The best day of our life.
Summer looks tempting and we certainly won’t get bored: many interesting productions will alternate on our territory, what will 2022 still have in store for us? Meanwhile, returning to the blockbuster film of Denis Villeneuvewe know that Dune – Part 2 will debut on November 17, 2023. In the cast of Dune – Part 2 we will review the original cast with Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista and Josh Brolin along with some new entries such as Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Austin Butler and Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot.
What we know about this second cinematic chapter is that the story of the first film will continue, but and director Denis Villeneuve and author Jon Spaihts they threw the hook for the third film of Dune:
Hopefully, there will be another movie later. The Messiah of Dune, Herbert’s second novel in this universe, would make perfect sense as a third film because it completes Paul Atreides’ narrative arc. I want to do the second part as fast as possible, then I will wait a few years, until Timothée Chalamet gets old a little, to make the last film.
