Bad news for fans of Dune, the release of chapter 2 has in fact been postponed by a few months, due to the very heavy strike of screenwriters and actors, which has been putting the world of American cinema in serious difficulty for some time. The difficult situation has forced Warner Bros Discovery and Legendary to postpone some of its flagship films, due out in the coming months. In addition to Dune in fact, will also be delayed The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim e Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

It would seem that the reasons for this decision are attributable to the strikes which are also involving the group of protagonists. The risk was having to promote the release of Dune without the participation of Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson e Austin Butler.
