In 2018 he was released on the market, Dyson Airwrap. Now the stiler of the British company, which 4 years ago had won the hearts of consumers and professionals, is evolving. A new version arrives on the market, designed to miniaturize and multiply the Conda effect and to offer a range of different styles, without resorting to external heat.
The new Dyson Airwrap
The new Dyson Airwrap is the fruit of the constant work of Dyson engineers and four different laboratories – in Malmesbury (UK), Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines -, each of which has been able to contribute by working on experiments, prototypes and simulations.
The result is a gifted product an extremely fast and high pressure motor that exploits the Coanda effect. It is a phenomenon that occurs when the air, propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, dragging the surrounding air and, in this case, also the hair.
All of this allows Dyson Airwrap users to curl, wave, straighten and dry your hair without the need to resort to extreme heat, whether dry or damp (but notn wet).
The latest arrival, which on the other hand boasts greater efficiency and therefore lower energy consumptioncarries with it too a series of new accessories, designed to take advantage of the Coanda effect even better. First of all we find the Coanda smoothing dryer, with the ability to quickly bring the hair from wet to damp and to hide the baby hair in the straightening mode. It is new too the brush, which offers greater control and spreads the air along the hair strands for a smoother and more linear result; two variants are available: wide and soft, small and wide.
They are new too i coni Airwrap, that allow you to change the direction of the air flow during styling and to create clockwise and anti-twist curls; available in different lengths – 20 mm, 30 mm and 40 mm – for different styles.
But that’s not all: also available the detangling comb and the round volumizing brushall easily replaceable thanks to the quick release switch and the cool-touch tip.
Do you already have an Airwrap at home? Know that Dyson has decided to make the new accessories compatible with the 2018 model as well. This means that you are not obliged to buy the newcomer but, if you want, you could simply opt for the new accessories. A decision based on the sustainable mentality adopted during the development of the device: designing in a digital world reduces the dependence on physical prototyping, thus drastically reducing the energy and materials used.
The new Dyson Airwrap will arrive on the market in May. The price? At the moment it has not yet been announced but we do not expect anything too different from the model currently on the market, on sale for € 499. However, we have no information regarding the set of accessories that can be purchased separately.
