After the great success of A Plague Tale Innocence released in 2019, the sequel, called A Plague Tale: Requiem, was presented as a world premiere at the E3 2021 conference of Microsoft and Bethesda
A Plague Tale: Innocence, developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive, was one of the biggest surprises of 2019, revealing itself to be an absolutely noteworthy narrative action adventure. After its successful commercial success, it was very likely, according to fans, the arrival of a sequel. Well, following recent rumors, that sequel has been confirmed. During the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 conference, it was officially announced A Plague Tale: Requiem, with also a launch window.
E3 2021, trailer and launch window for A Plague Tale: Requiem
Seeing the trailer shown at E3 2021, we can say that A Plague Tale: Requiem will see a return by brothers Amicia and Hugo as protagonists of the story. The video in question also shows even greater dangers than in the previous chapter, with swarms of rats even more fearsome. The official launch is scheduled for now for 2022, although we will have to wait for further updates: in addition to the description of the video, which talks about “an exciting and breathtaking journey” and “a new dangerous adventure, in which to do everything necessary to survive in a brutal and indifferent world”, we don’t have much other information. What remains for us to do then is for new news to arrive from the developers or the publisher.
