During the Ubisoft Forward conference of this E3 2021, a new IP of the French house was unveiled, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, coming in 2022
During this Ubisoft Forward just finished, we were able to take a look at the new Mario + Rabbids, the Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline and Riders Republic DLC, which also has a release date. At the end of the conference, the company also presented a new IP, inspired by a particularly famous and appreciated franchise: Avatar. Frontiers of Pandora is developed by the same guys from The Division, Massive Entertainment, along with Disney and Lightstorm Entertainment. The title was created using the Snowdrop Engine, which aims to bring Pandora back to life.
The story will be detached from that of Cameron’s film (dated 2009, we feel really very old) and will be completely standalone. We will control a Na’vi venturing towards the western frontier, places never explored with new creatures and new characters. Obviously, in all of this the RDA will put a spoke in the wheel and we will have to use our weapons and arrows to literally knock them down. We leave you the presentation trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora right below.
