The news of Ubisoft’s exit from the E3 2023 line up it arrived a few hours ago and shook the whole organization of what, in the past, was the most awaited event of the year in the videogame field and which has now taken on less and less value.
E3 has provided unforgettable moments for the entire industry over the years. While we originally intended to have an official presence at E3, we have decided to take a different direction and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12 in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.
Ubisoft previously promised a “strong lineup” for E3 2023, but after rumors of possible delays and postponements for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and The Crew: Motorfest, plans have likely changed. Therefore, it was decided to organize its own showcase, the classic Ubisoft Forward to handle in total autonomy and therefore at best all announcements and presentations relating to upcoming releases and productions. We just have to wait for June, at this point, to have further news on the matter.
