For the month of December, new releases will enrich the collections of Home Video enthusiasts. Eagle Pictures offers a Christmas based on the best cinema, here are the new DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K and above all collector boxes to put under the tree.
Escape Room
From December 9th Escape Room 2 – Mortal Game will be available, second chapter of the psychological thriller already blockbuster, which will see a new group of people grappling with a new and claustrophobic challenge, even more complicated and deadly that will gradually lead them to discover what they have in common to survive. The film, directed by Adam Robitel, will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Ezio Bosso – The Things That Remain
Also on December 9, and always available on DVD and Blu-Ray, we will have Ezio Bosso – Le Cose Che Restano by Giorgio Verdelli, a new exciting musical documentary told by the voice of the pianist and composer himself who made love for art his reason for living and who was an authentic source of inspiration. The film event opens a window on Ezio Bosso’s career and existence, telling the love for art, lived as a discipline and a reason for living, through the collection of his reflections, interviews, thoughts in a stream of consciousness that reveals itself and makes us enter his world, as in a diary.
DeAndrè # DeAndrè – Story Of An Employee
On December 16, in the GREEN BOX edition, a plastic free limited edition in DVD and Blu-Ray format, DeAndrè # DeAndrè – Storia Di An Employee will be released. Directed by Roberta Lena and presented out of competition at the 78th Venice Film Festival, the documentary is a son’s musical and personal homage to his artistic legacy, political and human of a great poet, in which the Genoese singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André is told through the eyes of his son Cristiano who re-proposes his works.
Cristiano De André has in fact rearranged and brought on a two-year tour the concept album History of an employee, a masterpiece by Fabrizio De Andrè, written in 1973 with Giuseppe Bentivoglio and Nicola Piovani. The film becomes like this an unmissable musical and visual journey through those live concerts, images of social struggles, historical memories, family memories and unpublished films. candy man
On December 16, an appointment also with the horror Candyman by Nia DaCosta, published in DVD and Blu-ray format. A sequel to the 1992 cult horror of the same name, the film is written and produced by Jordan Peele.
Bloody, disturbing and adrenaline-pumping, this one new chapter on one of the most famous urban legends of all time is set like the previous one in Chicago in the Cabrini-Green district, once a run-down area of the city and now a trendy location where Anthony lives, a talented artist always looking for inspiration for his works. The legend of Candyman, a dark presence who brutally kills with his hook whoever summons him after having pronounced his name in a mirror five times, fascinates Anthony who decides to understand if he really exists. Sadly Candyman is all too real and is looking for a replacement to take his place as a new avenging spirit.
New titles for the 4Kult series
Available from 1st December two new titles will enrich Eagle Pictures’ 4Kult Series, special editions containing the double disc 4K + Blu-Ray in a limited edition with a collectible card to put under the tree: the animated film Final Fantasy directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi and Motonori Sakakibara, based on the famous video game and Ran by the master Akira Kurosawa, a fratricidal struggle set in feudal Japan, winner of the Academy Award for Best Costumes.
Karate Kid set
December 9 will be a day full of news especially for collectors. In fact it is also the release date of cofanetto karate kid – the trilogy, containing the three original films of the famous saga of the 80s which rekindled the passion of the general public towards martial arts films.
Spiderman casket
Also from December 9th, just in time to have a nice marathon before the release of No Way Home, the Green BOX edition of the Spiderman box arrives, an unmissable ecological and recyclable edition in DVD and Blu-ray format.
This plastic free box will contain all seven amazing young Spider-Man movies released so far, combining in a single edition the much loved by fans Sam Raimi trilogy which sees Tobey Maguire in the role of Spiderman, the two films by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield and the last two chapters directed by Jon Watts which see the beloved Tom Holland as the protagonist. In other words, the box set contains the films Spider-Man 1, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, The Amazing Spiderman, The Amazing Spiderman 2, Spiderman: Homecoming and Spiderman: Far From Home.
