Marvel has released a new backstage clip from Echo, the new series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Marvel Studios has just released a new behind-the-scenes video of Echo, the new MCU series starring Alaqua Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox. The series will focus on the character of Echo. Character already introduced in the Hawkeye series of 2021. Echo will make its debut on January 9, 2024 on Disney plus. The released video includes several action scenes and allows you to get a little peek at the characters of Kingpin and Maya Lopez. Echo will be the first series in the MCU universe directly aimed at a mature audience it will also be the first series to have the Marvel Spotlight label. This is a recently launched label that serves to guarantee the public that what they are about to see can be followed individually, without necessarily having seen other productions of the franchise. Is this a move aimed at regaining a share of the public?
Echo: in addition to the backstage, the plot and the cast
The plot will revolve around the character of Maya Lopez, known to most as Echo. She will have to fight to regain her Native American roots. At the same time, she will also have to balance her aspirations for a life of crime to reap the brutal legacy of Wilson Fisk, known as the Kingpin.
Alaqua Cox will star as the main protagonist, while Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as Kingpin and Charlie Cox will once again play the role of Daredevil. The other protagonists will be played by: Chaske Spencer as Henry, Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Graham Greene as Skully, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, Devery Jacobs as Bonnie and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez . The series will consist of five episodes which will be broadcast on Disney+ starting January 9th.
