Lately EICMA launched the first of the eleven digital rarities that make up the inaugural collection of non-fungible tokens (NFT), EICMA’S ROAD. The International Two-wheeler Exhibition thus makes its official entry into the Web 3.0 and it does so by proposing a journey through its centenary history. Let’s find out all the details together.
EICMA launches its inaugural NFT collection
NFT number one indeed represents the animated evolution of the logo of the Milanese eventwhile the other ten, which will be released gradually, will play a selection from among the EICMA’s most significant posters. It will start from 1914 up to the present day.
It is a path that therefore sinks into roots of EICMA and projects it into the future of the web with an innovative tale of the two-wheeled history of the Exposition and of Italy.
The discovery of the entire collection of NFT it will not run out however in rete. In fact it will continue during the days of EICMA, from 10 to 13 November, with an engaging and entertaining physical treasure hunt reserved for visitors on the entire exhibition perimeter of the event in the pavilions of Fiera Milano in Rho. We will then go from virtual to real.
The president of EICMA, Pietro Medahe stressed:
“In our temperament, the restlessness of never resting on the leadership gained and of always looking ahead, trying to involve and engage even the youngest and beyond. Hence the idea of approaching the web of the property. We start carefully and gradually, contributing to the dissemination of blockchain technology, to enter this macro-ecosystem in an intelligent way and also give new development opportunities to EICMA itself and, above all, to our exhibitors and the reference industry in perspective “.
In the meantime, preparations continue for the new and awaited edition of EICMA 2022 to be held from8 to 13 November. The day of November 8 will be dedicated exclusively to the press, while that of November 9 will be dedicated to operators and the press. From 10 to 13 November EICMA will welcome instead the general publicinvolved this year, for the first time, also in the discovery of NFT dell’EICMA’S ROAD COLLETION.
