Tesla wants to expand their collection of in-car video games by adding the whole Steam catalog. Or at least that’s what it is Elon Musk he hinted by replying to a tweet. The integration could come “probably next month”. Though Tesla users know that Musk isn’t always accurate with dates.
Elon Musk announces that Steam games will arrive on Tesla
Tesla has been integrating some games into its electric car system for quite some time now. In the Tesla Arcade on recent car models you will find games such as Cuphead e Sonic the Hedgehog 1. But the ability to bring Steam’s entire game collection could make a difference.
In a tweet response from a user, the CEO Elon Musk wrote: “We are making progress with Steam integration. Demo probably next month ”. Suggesting an imminent debut for the most used PC gaming platform.
However, Tesla users know that the car maker hasn’t followed up on promises to bring games like Cyberpunk 2077 e The Witcher on the new ones Model S e Model X. Which are equipped with an on-board computer with a processor AMD Ryzen and a dedicated graphics card with AMD RDNA 2.
The possibility of bringing Steam games to Tesla had already been feared last February, again via a tweet from Musk.
