After many rumors and indiscretions, Jyamma Games has confirmed it: the release date of Enotria: The Last Song has been officially postponed, to avoid the arrival of the Elden Ring DLC
We already knew that the announcement of the release date of the Elden Ring DLC (here everything you need to know about the official trailer!) would shake the market, but that it fell on the same day as the arrival of Enotria: The Last Song is unfortunate for the small Italian development studio, Jyamma Games. Such a competition would not have been able to withstand even more renowned productions and it was therefore inevitable that, after several weeks of rumors and indiscretions, confirmation of the postponement of the release date would arrive. And not only that: there are other new features.

First the most interesting one: the release date. Enotria: The Last Song will officially arrive on August 21st. Yes, exactly one day after Black Myth Wukong, let's not comment on it. In addition to the postponement, Jyamma Games also stated that at launch the game will be available “only” on PC and PS5, therefore avoiding Xbox Series S. This, according to what was stated on Steam by Giacomo Greco, CEO of Jyamma Games, is to make the experience as efficient and optimized as possible on the launch platforms. It will be available on Xbox later.
Furthermore, to pass the time, a demo of Enotria: The Last Song will be made available “soon” on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and PS5. Greco would have stated:
We are sure that players will be enthusiastic about it and that it will allow us to receive feedback from all over the world. I am proud of the work and the level achieved by our team, especially considering that we are an independent company of only 60 people.
We expected that the release date of Enotria: The Last Song would be postponed, but that it would still fall one step away from another highly anticipated title still doesn't seem like a very smart choice to us.
