F1 22 returns to the spotlight with the game’s first VR gameplay trailer featuring Lance Stroll aboard the jaw-dropping Aston Martin
Codemasters and Electronic Arts Inc have released the first look at F1 22 gameplay captured in VR ahead of this weekend’s FORMULA 1 AWS GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2022. Exclusive to the PC platform, VR is just one of the many innovations that await gamers as the game launches on July 1st. With thehero Lance Stroll aboard the Aston Martin AMR22, the immersive gameplay demonstrates the claustrophobic feeling you get while sitting in the cockpit. Players will be able to experience the thrill of competing in a circuit of 4,361 km, the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal, like never before. F1 22 will also be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to Lee Mather, Codemasters F1 Senior Creative Director:
VR revolutionizes F1 22 on PC and takes racing weekend to a whole new level. From the claustrophobia of sitting in the cockpit to the intensity of the lights going out as 20 cars accelerate towards the first corner. It’s as close to Formula 1 racing as you can get without being on the starting grid.
Available for F1, F2 and supercars as part of F1 Life, players will finally be able to experience the race weekend from a whole new perspective. Starting in the garage, watch the team work tirelessly before heading towards the starting grid. Admire the intricate details of the environment and feel the intensity and speed as you fight for the race line with this season’s groundbreaking new cars, complete with new models of physics and handling.
F1 22 will be released on July 1, 2022 for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC via Origin, Steam and the Epic Store. Players can pre-order the Champions Edition F1 22digital only, to get additional content and three days of early access.
