Amazon Prime Video's hunchback hit also beats cash on Steam: the Fallout series achieves record numbers with many new recruits among users
It wouldn't be the first time after Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and The Last of Us, and as often happens even today we can talk about a plebiscite for the original material, in this case the Fallout series on Steamthanks to the live-action adaptation of Amazon Prime Video. In fact, last week's eight episodes also filled the purse Bethesda, according to the litmus test published the day before yesterday by SteamDB. The graph, which you can see in the tweet below, speaks clearly: the user base for the historical post-apocalyptic saga has doubled, and the numbers are getting even bigger. Of course the biggest beneficiary is the last chapter, but the overall increase for the IP exceeds 300%.

The Fallout series goes haywire on Steam: thanks to Amazon, a success of… nuclear scale
Beyond the fourth chapter, too Fallout: New Vegas has done quite a lot on Steam with the Amazon series. Previously, the player count did not go beyond 6000, but in the last twenty-four hours it has tripled. Naturally, leaving aside the excellent results for the third chapter, one would think that the less successful chapters are irrelevant. And, even on a day of unexpected news, we would be wrong to believe that. Even Fallout 76 took advantage of the renewed interest in the IP, reaching its peak of simultaneously connected players (over 39,000). The fourth chapter of the saga, however, promises even more sparks with a next-gen update (and the support on Deck) arriving on 25 April.
