We waited a really long time to find out who would play these characters, but it’s finally official: Marvel has officially announced the cast of the Fantastic 4!
The Fantastic Four are one of the most popular groups of heroes that Marvel Comics has ever created, on par with the popularity of the Avengers. Furthermore, the superhero group became even more popular thanks to the very first films of the early 2000s Fox, which although judged rather negatively by critics, made many comic book fans fall in love and today that cast has become iconic and impossible to forget. Some time ago they announced that the protagonist Reed Richards it would have been played by Adam Driver, but then the actor had given up the role. These rumors had already been there since 2019, the year in which they announced the film. At the time, however, we knew very little and waited a long time to discover the cast, but now we are finally here.
The cast of the Fantastic 4: here’s who will play the heroes
There were already several rumors regarding the casting of the film. In reality it is not the first time we have seen one of the characters of the Fantastic 4, in fact we had already seen Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and in that film he was played by John Krasinski. Krasinski was a fan favorite to play the character, so much so that when he appeared in the Doctor Strange movie fans went crazy. Besides him, there were also rumors Emily Blunt like the Invisible Woman, partly to create a meta relationship between characters and actors. Unfortunately, however, they will not be the ones playing the team. But the cast that Marvel has announced is still of great value. In fact we find Peter Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. According to the image above, the story should be set in the 1960s. The film is scheduled for release July 25, 2025.
