Fastweb has decided to launch an important offer for its customers. It consists ofelimination of the cost of landline and mobile calls to Morocco and Libyaareas affected by natural disasters.

In aid of the populations of Morocco hard hit by the earthquake and to those of Libya affected by the recent floods, and to facilitate communications with loved ones and support commercial activities, Fastweb is eliminating the cost of landline calls, text messages and roaming from mobile network, to and from Morocco and Libya. The initiative will be valid until October 31st.

Starting from 18 September in all Fastweb storesfamilies and businesses will be able to request the new eSIMs, thus contributing to eliminating the plastic used for the production of traditional SIMs in favor of an entirely digital experience that is more sustainable for the environment.

Both new and existing Fastweb customers who use a compatible device will have the possibility to request the activation of a new eSIM or the simple replacement of their physical SIM via the Scan the QR Code supplied in Fastweb stores and also available in the MyFastweb customer area. Furthermore, thanks to the new eSIM technology, all Fastweb customers will be able to activate multiple telephone numbers on a single device, also reducing the risk of damage or loss of the SIM.

Fastweb’s commitment to protecting the environment continues. The company, in fact, aims to achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2025 and announced that, starting this week, all Fastweb fixed and mobile Internet connections will have zero CO2 emissions.

In essence, the connectivity services guaranteed by the operator do not lead to CO2 emissions into the atmosphere thanks to Fastweb’s commitment to sustainability. Of note, the company also announced a donation of one million euros for the protection of the planet.
