Official debut in these hours for the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo. It’s about the first concept asr of the Maranello house dedicated exclusively to virtual motorsport world. The project is presented as a single-seater with covered wheels equipped with an extreme version of the V6 mounted by the Ferrari 499P.
Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo: the virtual concept car from the Maranello company
The design of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo was conceived by Ferrari Style Center, under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. The project is inspired by the world of Ferrari Sport Prototypes of the 60s and 70sa category in which the Maranello company has recorded a large number of successes in endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans won by Ferrari 9 times.
The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo project integrates a engine V6 Biturbo a 120° da three liters. This is the same type of engine used by Ferrari for the 296 GTB, the 296 GTS, the 296 GT3 and the 499P. In this configuration the engine is able to deliver 1030 HP at 9000 rpm to which more are added 240 kW, equal to 326 CV, generated by three electric motorsone on the rear axle and one on each of the front wheels.
The project of the new Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo was unveiled on the occasion of the GranTurismo World Finals in Montecarlo. The car will be available to all GT7 users starting December 23rd. Note that the 1:1 scale model of the concept car will be exhibited at the Ferrari Museum in Maranelloin the area dedicated to one-offs, from 15 December to next March 2023.
