The new Square Enix title is on its way. In fact, only a few months separate us from Final Fantasy 7 and, just to pass the time and keep millions of gamers in suspense, the software house has revealed new gameplay details regarding the fights, settings, characters and much more. Furthermore, Square Enix wanted to pay homage to its fans with a series of incredible screenshots. The new title of the cult saga is scheduled for February 29, 2024, but now let’s see together what they are new gameplay details revealed for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Final Fantasy 7: new gameplay details
Let’s start with the new feature visible in the screenshot above: Aerith, compared to Final Fantasy 7 Remake, will have a new ability called Ward Shift which will give her the ability to create new symbols during fights and teleport, thus ensuring much more dynamic and fluid mobility . But the gameplay innovations of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth don’t end here:
- The “Dynamic” difficulty level which will adapt to the player’s skill level, adjusting the strength of the enemies;
- Synergistic abilities, that is, the possibility of combining the attacks of two characters who will act simultaneously;
- Red XIII will be a new fully playable character and one of his abilities will be Vengeance Mode, defending us from enemy attacks and at the same time increasing our offensive power.
Furthermore, Square Enix, in addition to the gameplay, has also revealed some settings already certainly known among veteran fans of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. In fact, you will visit Kalm and the Mythril Mine where you will be able to meet some characters including Rhonda, Priscilla, Billy and Chloe.
