Publisher Square Enix confirmed today that the FINAL FANTASY pixel remaster series, already available for PC (via Steam) and mobile (on the App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android) will also arrive on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo consoles Switch to digital release on April 19, 2023.
The pixel remaster series includes the games from FINAL FANTASY I to FINAL FANTASY VI, presenting an improved and remastered version of the original games, while maintaining the retro charm of their design.

The versions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, in addition to the graphic remaster, will also benefit from exclusive features. These include the ability to choose between the original and rearranged soundtracks and to change the game fonts (you can choose between the default font or one inspired by pixels). In addition, players from PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will be able to take advantage of new options, such as deactivating random encounters or adjusting the multipliers of experience gained (from 0 to 4).

Fans of the game will also be able to choose to buy individual games separately or, for the complete collection, purchase the single bundle. Furthermore, from today it is possible to pre-order the digital version for Nintendo Switch. Those who will buy one or more games from the FINAL FANTASY pixel remaster series on Nintendo Switch before May 25, 2023 will receive two themed wallpapers for each game purchased. In total, whoever buys the entire series will receive 12 thematic wallpapers.
Those who will buy the digital version of one or more games on PlayStation 4 from 19 April 2023 to 25 May 2023 will receive a theme and avatar based on the game or each of the games purchased. Those who purchase the complete series in the FINAL FANTASY I-VI BUNDLE will receive all themes and avatars included in the individual games, for a total of six themes and six avatars.
