Not all battle royale games come out “with a v-hole”: Final Fantasy VII tried, but 2023 marks the end of the experiment The First Soldier
We hope you want to forgive us for the pun (from the complaint) on Fortnite, but we would hardly think of a different opening for the announcement of Square-Enix on Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldierwhich will close shack and puppets to early 2023. The game was released last November, which means that the announcement came just short of the first candle. The post on the official Twitter profile of the game, in this sense, is clear. “Despite all our efforts to deliver regular updates and fresh and exciting content, we haven’t been able to create the experience we hoped for, and that you deserve.”
The Final Fantasy VII fanfare rings in mourning: The First Soldier party ends in 2023
Or, for us, even earlier, considering that Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier has set next year as the date only for the English language. The tweet, which you also see below, ended with “the extremely painful decision” to end the services. Which translates to theJanuary 11, deadline to spend the in-game currency. Speaking of Shinra Credits, they can no longer be purchased. As for us, however, the time available is even less. Support for languages other than English will in fact expire on first of November. On the subject with Halloween, on the other hand: there is no worse bugbear than this, for us gamers.
[End of Service Notice]
We are regretful to announce that we will be ending service for FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRST SOLDIER at 07:00 UTC on January 11, 2023.
We would like to thank you all for all your support over the past year.https://t.co/XvNOVv2EVs#FF7FS pic.twitter.com/aNVI4iHle4

The battle royale for mobile is (or rather, was) set before the events of the original game, with players playing various candidates to join SOLDIER. Despite zealous and regular support, the game hasn’t proved as lucrative as Square-Enix would have hoped. Attempts were certainly not lacking, such as the inclusion of 3D models taken from the great classic. It is certainly not the only title linked to the ever-growing Compilation, however: this year (without precise dates) the remaster Ever Crisis awaits us. TO Decemberin addition, we will have with us the anticipated Crisis Core Reunion.
