Square Enix recently announced the release date of The Rising Tide, the latest DLC in the pipeline for Final Fantasy XVI: let's discover all the details together in this dedicated article
While we are all still immersed in the magical world of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (here is our review!), Square Enix is completing the Final Fantasy XVI project (we told you about it here!), of which two separate DLCs were planned and belonging to the Season Pass of which the first and most limited, Echoes of the Fallen, it was already released last December. The second, however, needed more work, as it was more expanded and had particularly interesting additions. Finally, however, we have an official release date in which we will be able to close the circle of Clive's adventure.

Final Fantasy XVI: The Rising Tide will arrive on PS5 on April 18th, with a breath of fresh air and lots of new content. The synopsis, available on the official Square Enix website, reads:
An anonymous letter arrives at the refuge, bringing with it an unexpected request: the long-lost Leviathan Dominant, Eikon of Water, needs help. To answer this call, Clive and his companions will have to venture to Mysidia, a land hidden under a blue sky, where they will discover the tragic story of a forgotten people.
To play The Rising Tide you must have unlocked Origin as a destination on the world map and have completed the main mission “Priceless” (here you can find the complete list of missions!). Among the most interesting additions, in addition to the new fiction sectionwe find the possibility of obtaining Leviathan's Eikonwhich will allow Clive to complete the elements and also have the element of water in his hands.
Also, with The Rising Tide The level cap of the characters will be raisedwhich will go from 50 to 60 in Story Mode or Action Mode and from 100 to 110 in Final Fantasy Mode.
