Just over a month away from the release of NBA 2K23, and to deceive the wait 2K today unveils the brand new First Look trailer, which shows us all the news of the new chapter of the videogame basketball franchise. The game will be officially released i September 9, 2022but the preorder of the various editions is already available.

Last month 2K revealed the last of the NBA 2K23 cover athletes, announcing the name of Devin Booker, NBA All-Star currently under contract with the Phoenix Suns. Together with Booker we will also find the WNBA basketball players Diana Taurasi e Sue Birdin addition to the living legend Michael Jordan.
The four covers will be available for the different editions of the game, which will be:
- Standard Edition: available for PlayStation4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC. A special version of the Standard Editionfocused on the transversality between musical and basketball culture.
- Digital Deluxe Edition: all the features of the Standard Edition. In addition to this it will include: 10,000 MyTEAM points, 10 MyTEAM tokens, 23 MyTEAM promo packs, star cover players: Devin Booker Sapphire, Michael Jordan Ruby; The free Agent Option Package; 1 Jordan Diamond shoe (not for sale) and 1 pack of Ruby Trainer Cards. In addition: 10x 6 types of skill upgrades. My career; 10 × 3 types of Gatorade power-ups; 2 hour XP double coin; 4 MyCAREER t-shirts; backpack; personalized skateboard with cover star and elbow pads.
- Michael Jordan Edition: Available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will contain 100,000 virtual coins in addition to MyTEAM and MyCAREER content.
- Championship Edition: Available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Includes 12-month NBA League Pass membership, 10% XP Boost on MyTEAM Season Progression; 10% XP Boost on MyCAREER Season Progression, the exclusive Michael Jordan themed Go-Kart available at launch, 100K of virtual currency, in addition to the MyTEAM, MyCAREER content already present in the Michael Jordan Edition. This edition will have limited availability and the digital version will be available for pre-order only. Physical versions will be available in select regions and resellers while supplies last.
Added to these is the exclusive WNBA Edition which will only be available for the Canadian and North American market.
