Ford is preparing to stop production of the Ford Fiesta. The stop will take place during 2023 and will mark the end of the career of one of the most iconic models in the range of the American house in Europe. The Fiesta will not be replaced by a new generation.

Ford will stop producing the Ford Fiesta in the course of 2023. The city car is not part of the future plans of the American house and will not receive a new generation. For segment B, therefore, Ford will focus on the Ford Puma crossover that in the course of 2024 will also receive a vaelectric radiator with zero emissions.
The news, after the rumors of recent days, was confirmed directly by Ford who said: “we are accelerating our efforts to focus on electrification with our fully electric cars by 2030 and all vehicles in our Ford range by 2035 ″
For the future, adds Ford: “We prepare for the transition to an electric future, we will stop production of the S-Max and Galaxy in Valencia, Spain, in April 2023 and we will stop production of Fiesta in Cologne, Germany, by end of June 2023 “.
Ford confirmed the arrival of three new electric and four zero-emission commercial vehicles over the next few years for the European market.
