Formula E today announced the return of the event Formula E: Accelerate eSports competition and opened the registration procedure on the official website. The series of qualifications “Road to the London Final“Will take place online along with in-person qualifying in the week preceding each of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship E-Prix races in Rome (April 9 and 10), Monaco (April 30), Berlin (May 14 and 15), Jakarta (June 4), Vancouver (July 2) and New York (July 16 and 17).
Formula E is back: Accelerate eSports competition
As per tradition for this competition, nine of the drivers who recorded the fastest times in the qualifying series will be invited to the finals of the weekend.London E-Prix. Formula E will then host the Accelerate final during the London E-Prix weekend.
The top three finishers from the London final will receive a 100.000 euro and VIP tickets to the Seoul E-Prix, as well as the chance to take part in a Formula E driving experience at the Valencia pre-season tests that will bring the esports podium from the sim rig to the race seat.
