The skies of fire have filled the island of Fortnite with cubes: here’s what news await us in season 8, Battle Pass included
The final event “Heavens of Fire” swept the spaceships out of the skies of Fortnite, but between the news of season 8 other quarrels arise. If you missed the conclusion of season 7, “Invasion,” the spaceships we faced with Superman, Rick and Morty are – * burp * – exploded. Dr Slone, head of the Imaginary Order (source of that nuisance called OI Guards and apparently responsible for the island “loop”), sent us on a suicide mission. The good news is that the players survived interacting with the mythical “cube” of a few seasons ago; the bad one is that now the game world is full of them.
Lots of news for Fortnite’s cubic season 8
The first of the novelties of season 8 is the “Vice versa”, A microcosm contained in the cubes that replicates to scale the mechanics of the alien abductions seen previously on Fortnite. Inside them we will have to fight monsters to get weapons and so on, but with less gravity and without buildings. During the season it will then be possible to request which ones weapons exhume from the “warehouse” of the previous phases of Epic’s battle royale. Finally, this season will also have its equivalent of Maya and Kimera: this is Cartonno, a 1930s variant of Pescesecco and counterpart of Miaoscolo Cartoon, which we can color as we prefer.
Of course, there is no season without it Battle Pass: here’s who else awaits you besides Cartonno. The symbolic character of the season, with an inevitable masked counterpart, will be the resolute Torin. To the delight of unicorn lovers, then, we have the living cereal mascot Fabio Foltachioma. Afterwards, J.B. Scimpanski looks like a simian counterpart to some default skins. Charlotteinstead, she plays the role of the typical Japanese student (with katana). Disease heralds herself as a GI Joe-style baroness. This season’s host is one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous enemies, the symbiote Carnage. Once in a while, finally, the secret skin it’s really a secret!
