Several Forza Horizon 5 players are paying homage to Ken Block, a rallying legend who passed away just this week at the age of 55. Players are accessing the game’s open world by racing the Hoonigan cars, Block’s team.
Ken Block was a professional rally driver who also starred in several video games such as Need for Speed, Forza and Dirt. Block died on January 2, 2023, following a serious snowmobile accident near his ranch in Woodland, Utah. He had turned 55 a few months ago.

A dozen Hoonigan cars are featured in Forza Horizon 5, including the 1986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution, the 1992 Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 “Twerkstallion” and the 1994 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS Cosworth WRC “Cossie V2”. Block’s death, players have begun using Hoonigan cars to remember the vanished legend. Others, on the other hand, have incited players on social media to do the same, in memory of Ken Block. Here are some examples.
I was gonna go to bed but I’m gonna hop on Forza & drive a Hoonigan instead. Hoping to spot some others doing the same #43
