Fall Guys is preparing to officially become a free-to-play, which means it will be free on consoles and PCs. All starting from 21 June 2022, when the title will be officially removed from Steam. In addition, the game will also arrive for free on Xbox consoles (Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S) and Nintendo Switch. Obviously it will also be available on PlayStation and PC, where, however, it will move to the Epic Games Store.

Fall Guys will also be free on Xbox and Switch

The announcement comes directly from Mediatonic, developer of the beloved and atypical battle royale. The farewell to Steam, however, should not worry those who have already downloaded the game, which will remain available. However, new users will have to download directly from the Epic Games Store. Additionally, those who already own the game prior to the move to free-to-play will receive a Legacy Pack. This includes three new costumes (Regal, Veggie Dog and Feisty Dwarf) as well as a season 1 pass, a nickname and a nameplate.

Epic Games has also opened pre-registration for the free-to-play Fall Guys launch and is offering rewards to encourage players to register. There are five rewards on offer, including a nameplate, 3,500 Kudos, a Burgers model, the Muscleman emote, and a Melonhead costume.

The game will then become crossplatformallowing players from different consoles to play together.
