Appreciated for their design and exceptional performance, FUJIFILM products win over the jury of the Red Dot Design Award every year and this edition also collects the “Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2023”
FUJIFILM announces that the INSTAX mini Link 2 smartphone printer, the FUJIFILM Prescale Mobile App for analyzing pressure images, the FUJIFILM XApp for the GFX/X series of mirrorless digital cameras, and the Remote Rec Function, available on mirrorless digital cameras FUJIFILM X-H2S and X-H2, when combined with the “FT-XH” file transmitter”, were selected for the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2023: a design award organized by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen based in Essen, Germany.
The Red Dot Design Award is an international design award launched in 1955. It is considered one of the three most prestigious design awards in the world, along with Germany’s iF Design Award and the United States’ International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA).

The Brands & Communication Design category is awarded to products and services with excellent design in several areas, including branding, advertising, packaging, UI (user interface) and UX (user experience).
The four award-winning FUJIFILM products and services were recognized for design excellence, functionality, creativity, brand awareness and competitive differentiation.
As announced last April, 23 other Fujifilm products, including the mobile X-ray fluoroscopy system and the broadcast zoom lens, also won the award in the Product Design category.
In developing all of its products and services, FUJIFILM not only pursues product functionality and performance, but also is committed to developing a design that makes the most of superior functionality and performance.

“INSTAX mini Link 2” smartphone printer
A printer that can easily print images taken with a smartphone. It comes with a feature that allows users to apply an AR (augmented reality) effect to add drawings or writing “in the air” when taking photos.
Pressure image analysis app “FUJIFILM Prescale Mobile”
An application created for using the “Prescale” blood pressure measurement film. The application, via a mobile device, allows users to easily quantify blood pressure by acquiring a developed color Prescale and also allows further use of the data by connecting the application to a dedicated cloud system.
FUJIFILM XApp for GFX/X series mirrorless digital cameras
The application connects GFX/X Series mirrorless digital cameras with a smartphone or tablet, so users can remotely control the camera and transfer images taken by the camera to the connected device for viewing. The application offers seamless connectivity with the camera and has a feature that allows you to view a day’s shooting activities like a photo diary.
Remote recording function
This feature for both the FUJIFILM X-H2S and X-H2 makes it easy to connect up to four cameras with a computer or tablet device and record video or change camera settings through your computer’s browser. The function can be used by combining cameras with “FT-XH”, a file transmitter available as an optional accessory.
