FUJIFILM introduces the FUJINON XF30mmF2.8 R LM WR Macro lens, which enriches the XF interchangeable lens range designed for the X Series mirrorless digital cameras, products that offer a compact and lightweight design and exceptional image quality based on Fujifilm’s proprietary color reproduction technology.
FUJNON XF30mmF2.8 R LM WR Macro is a standard prime lens with a focal length of 30mm (equivalent to 46mm in 35mm film format) that can be perfectly matched to X series cameras, especially the latest FUJIFILM X-T5.
Compared to conventional standard lenses, the XF30mmF2.8 has a very short minimum working distance and greatly improved macro performance, with a 1: 1 magnification ratio. Despite being a highly versatile standard lens, it has virtually no constraints in terms of working distance to the subject.
The ability to take 1: 1 full-scale dynamic macro photography allows maximum flexibility in desktop photography, with the ability to get close to the subject in a limited space, as well as a wide range of categories including portraits and snapshots that exploit perspectives natural. It is capable of 1: 1 magnification macro photography at a minimum shooting distance of only 10cm * 1 despite its compact design.
XF30mmF2.8 R LM WR Macro has an optical design consisting of 11 elements in nine groups including three aspherical elements and two ED elements. Thanks to the X-Series APS-C image sensor, a subject is reproduced 1.5 times larger in full-frame equivalent. The lens also uses the internal focusing system, in which a linear motor drives the elements of the focus group, to provide fast and highly accurate AF. The focusing operation is quiet and smooth even for close-ups that involve a large movement of the focusing elements. In addition, thanks to the X Mount system, it weighs only 195g, for advanced versatility and mobility and for use in the most varied photographic needs.
It is dust and weather resistant capable of operating at low temperatures for advanced ease of use. In fact, the lens barrel is “weather-sealed”, sealed in nine places so that it is resistant to dust and atmospheric agents and can be used in temperatures as low as -10 ° C. Generally Inner Focus systems involve a large number of elements, increasing the length of the lens. However, this lens is lightweight and measures just 69.5mm, thanks to the optimized positioning and shape of the aspherical elements. The system allows the XF30 to capture the decisive moment without hesitation in a wide variety of situations.
