G-SHOCK announced the launch of the new G-LIDE model, the second in the G-SHOCK line of indestructible watches, designed for extreme sports. The model in question G-SHOCK is GBX-100KL-1ER and is the second signed by the professional surfer Kanoa Igarashi. G-SHOCK’s new watch is inspired by the GBX-100 and features Mobile Link functions and a tide graph, essential for surfers.

All watch, made with a finitura total black, including the bezel, strap and LCD display, was made under the supervision of Igarashi. The presence of Mobile Link functions accessible via the dedicated smartphone app.
Users can choose from one of the 3,300 preset locations and send various information to the watch, including tide data and the time of sunrise and sunset. Note that the face of the new G-SHOCK watch contains the display LCD MIP (Memory in Pixel) with high contrast that guarantees maximum visibility.
Igarashi, over the course of his career, has achieved a large number of awards and successes. Born in 1997 in Los Angeles, the surfer started his activity at a very young age by winning several events, including WSL Vans US Open of Surfing and the Corona Bali Protected. Last summer, the surfer took the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
The debut in December
The new GBX-100KL from G-SHOCK will be officially available starting from the month of December. Users will be able to purchase the new watch in the G-SHOCK flagship store in Corso Como, Milan, and at some selected G-SHOCK retailers.
