GALAX introduces its Custom par excellence, an RTX 3060 Ti in HOF Pro variant with white PCB and 1.8 GHz for the GPU clock
GALAXY, certainly needs no introductionat least for more “Underground” users, is in fact less known to the mainstream consumer sector, for the simple fact that theirs is a niche market.
GALAX produces and develops extreme components, intended for Overclocking use, with and without (LN2) liquid nitrogentheir products are in fact widely used in various competitions, really Why their mission is to develop the most extreme and extreme version possible for a given Chip.
In fact, within the team they test different Chips to find the “luckiest”, and carry out different tests of resistance to high voltages and frequencies. This is one of the reasons why they produce “few” products compared to other brands.
Today we talk about their new mid-range, the 3060 Ti HOF Pro, in its most performing version.
GALAX launches the RTX 3060 Ti HOF Pro: an extreme GPU
With the introduction of the new GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, GALAX has decided to release a model Hall of Fame Mid-range pros. The last “X”-60 class GPU to re-enter the HOF series with 6GB was not surprisingly the GTX 1060 6GB released 6 years agoand today it is re-proposed in the Pro version recalling the stylistic features of past years, which brought excellent competitive results in the OC field to the GALAX overclockers. You can see it in the image below.
Returning to the new model, the HOF series is the flagship of the GALAX GPUs, and as per tradition we find a completely customized white PCB equipped with dual 8-pin power connectors. Present a GPU GA104 con 4864 CUDA cores clocked at 1.8GHz. That means an 8% overclock. This frequency is not very common among RTX 3060 Ti GPUs, in fact, it represents the maximum 10% in terms of factory overclock. A starting point that already represents a model that is 10% more powerful than the average, but it is possible to manually increase the Overclock values, always if you have the adequate knowledge to carry out this practice.
This particular model is based on the latest variant equipped with GDDR6X. This means an upgrade in memory throughput from 15Gbps to 19Gbps. Also, the non-reference TDP reaches i 265 W (default is 200W). One of the coolest features of this board is the LED indicator for the power connectors.
This ensures that the connection is established correctly before using the card. Such a feature would be a great addition to the new RTX 40 series as well.
At the moment unfortunately, it seems rather difficult for this GPU to be sold outside of Asia. But it won’t be difficult to find it on other Stores facing the European market. At least for now this is the market situation. If you want to keep learning about the latest news from the hardware world, keep following us. Greetings from TechGameWorld.com.
