Last week a report from South Korea shed some light on the camera specs of the upcoming series phones Samsung’s Galaxy S22. And recently the Samsung Ice Universe leaker unearthed some useful details about it. From what he reported, Samsung’s Galaxy S22 and S22 + will use the‘ISOCELL GN5, a 50 MP sensor with pixels of 1.0 μm e tecnologia Dual Pixel Pro for faster autofocus capability. However, it’s worth noting that the ISOCELL GN5 has smaller pixels than the ISOCELL GN2 used in Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Ultra.
Galaxy S22: camera details revealed
According to some recent reports, Samsung will likely use a newer version of the 108MP sensor of the Galaxy S21 Ultra in the new S22 Ultra. From what emerges, the main sensor will be flanked by a ultra wide angle lens e two 10 MP zoom lenses. Beyond that, Ice Universe has also revealed new details on the Exynos 2200 chipset Samsung’s new generation, direct successor to the Exynos 2100, which already powers the company’s best smartphones on the market.
Finally, the smartphone will feature a Cortex-X2 core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three high-performance cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, and four efficiency-focused cores running at 2.2 GHz. And the SoC’s AMD GPU may be clocked at 1250 Mhz on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Indeed, from what we know this model will also have one 45W charging speed, just like the Galaxy S20 Ultra. For the moment, however, it is only rumors. We will find out if these are real advances only when Samsung launches the new series in January next year.
