GeForce NOW Thursday: Updates coming for users

GFN users will have the opportunity to take advantage of the news coming to the service thanks to the January update GeForce NOW 2.0.37 which includes: 3 new resolution upscaling options. Let’s see which ones

1. AI Enhanced – can be activated by playing on PC with selected NVIDIA GPUs and SHIELD TV; leverages a trained neural network model along with image sharpness for a much more natural look

2. Enhanced – Provides higher quality upscale than Standard

3. Standard – enabled by default and has minimal impact on system performance

· Customizations for streamers

  • Adjusting some of the streaming quality settings can now be done in session using the in-game GeForce NOW overlay
  • Improved the streaming experience on play.geforcenow.com for the web by assigning the ideal streaming resolution for devices that are unable to decode at high streaming bitrates
  • Additionally, the GeForce NOW app is officially out of beta and as a result, GeForce NOW is now available on LG TVs! Owners of the LG 2021 4K TV models – including OLED, QNED, NanoCell and UHD TVs – can now download the GeForce NOW app through the LG Content Store.

To celebrate the full launch of the app and the expansion of devices supported by GeForce NOW, those who purchase LG products – from February 1 to March 27 – in the United States, will get a full six months of Priority membership to the service in bundle. Promotion start dates and availability vary by region, terms and conditions.
