After watching the short but intense trailer during the PlayStation Showcase, we are certain: 2023 will be the year of Ghostrunner 2. It is obviously the sequel to the famous first-person cyberpunk action game that has conquered millions of fans around the world.
The game, the result of a collaboration between 505 Games and One More Level, takes up the story of Jack, the cybernetic warrior who challenged the tyrannical regime of the Dharma Tower. A year after his escape, Jack will face new challenges in a post-apocalyptic world, full of dangers and adventures.
What we learned from the Ghostrunner 2 trailer
The announcement trailer, which you can watch at this link,
suggests that Ghostrunner 2 will offer players an even richer and more dynamic gameplay, with new skills, upgrades and combat mechanics. Among the most awaited novelties, there will be the possibility of ride Jack’s motorcycle in frenetic action scenes.
The game also makes use of stunning graphics and a synthwave soundtrack that will immerse us in the cyberpunk atmosphere.
We know little about the release date. Although we don’t have an official day and month we do know for sure that Ghostrunner 2 will be released by the end of 2023.
