Here is the new release date for Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire
The film was initially scheduled for release April 12, 2024, in spring. But now, based on what we read in The Hollywood Reporter, the film has been anticipated and will be released on March 29 instead of April 12th. Godzilla and Kong movie replaces Mickey 17the new film by Bong Joon-ho with protagonist Robert Pattinson. This is because the director needs more time to make sure he finishes the work in the best possible way, also due to the writers’ and actors’ strike. Simon Barrett wrote the screenplay for the film which will see a collaboration between the ape Kong and the radioactive lizard Godzilla against a great threat represented by King Scarwhich threatens to make them both disappear along with the human race to build a new empire.
The film will delve deeper the story of the Titans and Skull Island, revealing how the legendary war was born between these extraordinary creatures who are believed to be deities and how they became linked to the human race. The villain of the film, in fact, will represent the worst side of humanity and not only that, he will be a completely different villain, something Godzilla has never faced before.
