Google will begin the first public tests of its new ones augmented reality (AR) glasses in August. The company will test Narrator functions for translation and transcription, but also AR for navigation with Google Maps.

Google explains that it will also test simultaneous translation and transcription, but that the prototypes do not currently have photography or video capabilities.
