There are numerous news announced by Google today, the day in which the first is held Google Cloud Sustainability Summit. A meeting that has as its theme eco-sustainability and that becomes an opportunity to present new solutions and programs for business and individuals. Added to this are a series of partnerships that aim to make sustainable transformation a choice within everyone’s reach.
The new solutions for the Google Cloud Sustainability Summit
Here are some of the news that will be announced during the Summit.
- Google Earth Engine. The company makes the world’s leading proprietary environmental monitoring technology available to all, on Google Cloud. This will enable enterprises to make data-driven decisions and understand the current state and potential impact of their transformation. Therefore, greater awareness, for more targeted decisions.
- A new pilot project. This will allow us to share insights collected over the past 10 years with Google Cloud customers on carbon-free energy 24/7. This will give them a clear picture of their electricity emissions profile and carbon footprint scope 2. A project that aims to help predict and plan an optimized energy supply. An incentive therefore to operate through carbon-free energy transactions.
- Expansion of the Carbon Sense product suite. New data and greater coverage, making it easier for cloud architects and administrators to prioritize sustainability.
- Two new partner programs, Google Cloud Ready – Sustainability e Google Cloud Marketplace Sustainability Hub. The two solutions aim to extend the skills and tools available to companies to achieve their sustainability goals.
