The launch of the Pixel 5a 5G is imminent. And that’s not an understatement. Apparently, Google could announce the new smartphone just tomorrow, August 17th. After so much waiting, the moment seems to have finally come. At least according to Android Police, which shared pictures of spare parts for Google’s new phone, which hit stores just before its official launch. So let’s see how the new Pixel will be.
Pixel 5a: the official announcement could arrive on August 17th
It could be less than 24 hours before the announcement of the Google Pixel 5a 5G, one of the most anticipated smartphones of the summer. For now, according to some leaks shared by Android Police, the phone seems to be an improved version of the previous one Pixel 4a 5G. In particular, the design and layout of the rear camera are almost identical, except for the power button positioned on one side of the body. Indeed, the material of the back of the smartphone would appear to be more rubbery compared to the hard plastic of the previous model. And the top clearly shows an attachment for the headphone jack, which will make music fans happy.

But these aren’t the only details we know in preview. From what we know, the Pixel 5a 5G will have the largest battery of any Pixel model launched on the market to date. In fact, there is talk of one 4680 mAh battery, which far exceeds that of the previous model. As for the processor, it would seem that the technological giant has chosen to rely on a Snapdragon, possibly the 765G of the Pixel 4a 5G. In any case, it seems that more certain news will be available on August 17th, when Google will announce the new smartphone. Indeed, according to some rumors, this could even hit the next market August 26, at the price of 450$.
For our part, we can’t wait to follow Google’s announcement. And to see the new Pixel 5a 5G, before we even get ready for the fall launch of Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
