Dal September 20, 2023 Gran Turismo – The Story of an Impossible Dream will arrive in Italian cinemas, a film based on the acclaimed racing game series for Playstation. Director Neill Blomkamp, former director of District 9, shot the film with a cast that includes David Harbour, Thomas Kretschmann, Djimon Hounsou e Orlando Bloom. The film starring Archie Madekwe is based on true events and tells of the possibility of granting the wish of a teenage Gran Turismo player, whose gaming skills have won him a series of competitions Nissan and to compete like a real professional race car driver.
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the tale of a wish come true a teenage Gran Turismo player whose expert gaming skills have seen him win a series of competitions on his way to becoming a true professional driver of racing cars.

Gran Turismo is a racing simulation video game series created by Kazunori Yamauchi and developed by Polyphony Digital for PlayStation systems, Gran Turismo games are intended to emulate the appearance and performance of a wide selection of vehicles, most some of which are licensed reproductions of real-world automobiles.
