In addition to confirming its development, Rockstar Games preferred press silence regarding the situation of Grand Theft Auto 6from which we already knew we could expect graphic improvements before learn today about realism as a purpose for in-game climate and water. The game suffered a massive leak last year, and the Australian ratings system recently rated it. Now, however, the foreign press sheds some light on the developments: specifically, we allude to the Rockstar Magazine French, which provides us with details on the graphic evolution of the title. The latter are due to “months of work and research” with the source, from a “still temporary dossier”. If Rockstar Magazine puts its hand on “not being 100% certain”, it goes without saying that pliers metaphorical ones serve you too.

Once we take note of the speculative nature of the data reported, there is still much to hope for. With RAGE 9, Rockstar aims to implement real-time simulated water with a “revolutionary new system” that will result, for example, in realistic surfing. At the same time, we have a “significant increase” in polygons for vehicles, thanks to which they will deform more precisely with each impact. It’s not all realism in the gameplay, though: Rockstar seems intent on finding it a balance between realistic driving and arcade experience. The illuminations will do justice to what now seems to be confirmed as Vice City. The weather will have a credible impact on gameplay, both during the “more realistic than ever” sunsets and on the “eeriest” nights. It shouldn’t be long until the announcement, given Take-Two’s plans to publish it by April 2025.
