The release date of the physical edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, the remastered of the three classic titles in the saga, has been revealed
Confirmation with respect to the release date of the physical edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition it comes from the Polish newspaper PPE, which claims to have received the information directly from the retailers. As announced by Rockstar Games, the game will contain the remastered version of three of the saga’s class titles: Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas.

The exit date of the physical edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, according to PPE, has been set for the next December 7, 2021. The release linked to this date, again according to the Polish magazine, concerns only PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. There physical version intended for next generation consoles it will probably arrive no earlier than next year. At the moment, there is no information regarding the release of a version destined for the PC, which appears to have been excluded from the physical copy market. Finally, regarding the release of the digital version, it is not expected to be announced for a date of next November.
In recent days, the price at which the stock should be sold was also announced. If the information turns out to be correct, the price of the version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will be equal to 70 euro. This is an increase compared to what players are used to spending but there is the possibility that, in a short time, this will become the new standard for video games intended for next generation consoles. It was also announced that, simultaneously with the release of The Trilogy, they will be removed from the market previous editions of the games included in the remastered.
