In August, Kotaku reported that remasters for the three games were in the final stages of development at Rockstar Dundee, the studio formerly known as Ruffian Games until it was acquired by Take-Two in October 2020. The same site claimed that the titles would be remastered using Unreal Engine and they would offer a mix of “new and old graphics“. Rockstar has recently delayed the next generation versions of GTA V from the previously scheduled release date of November to the beginning of 2022.
