The GravaStar Mercury M2 mouse unboxing experience starts with a positive impression. The box is sturdy and well made, with an attractive design that reflects that of the mouse itself and a prevalence of green color.

One of the most obvious strengths of the GravaStar Mercury M2 mouse undoubtedly lies in its attractive design. As clearly illustrated in the images, the mouse presents an appearance reminiscent of a real alien spacecraft, immediately capturing the attention of users. The body of the device is made of black PVC.
I attention to detail they are also manifested in small details, such as the light gray writing positioned on the right and left button, which contribute to giving the mouse a modern and refined appearance. The choice of black as the main color adds a touch of elegance to the device, making it suitable for any gaming setup.
Analyzing the left side of the mouse, there is the presence of two customizable keys with a glossy finish, which allow users to adapt the device to their gaming needs. In the center, we find a wheel and the DPI selector (also shiny). The wheel design recalls a honeycomb pattern, adding an interesting aesthetic element.
The section where the palm rests is characterized by a perforated pattern and the company logo. Moving towards the internal part of the device, we notice a plastic body from which the RGB lighting spreads out, helping to create a unique atmosphere during use. Surely, lighting is one of the characteristic features. Customizable through the software, it will seem like an alien egg inside the device. Finally, the bottom of the mouse houses the connection selector and the PAW3395 sensor. Not even missing hole to insert the dongle if we decided to take it around!

Let’s start from dimensions effective. The mouse measures 12.4cm long, 5.7cm wide at the middle and 6.45cm at the widest section. The height is 3.95 cm. The shape vaguely resembles that of the Razer Viper Mini.
As regards thehandle, the most suitable in this case is the clawgrip. In general, the mouse is more suitable for users with small handswhile it might be a little tight for those, like us, who have larger hands.
The matte finish of the plastics makes the mouse a little slippery, despite the grooves that should help improve the grip. This could be solved by the stickers in the package. Furthermore, the design of the mouse did not completely convince us. Honeycomb mice are usually very light, but this model weighs 79 g, a reasonable weight but certainly not featherweight. The fault lies with the RGB shell present under the body.
As for the gaming experience, the mouse performed well in every situation. The connection, both wireless and Bluetooth, was always reliable. The PAW3395 sensor is very precise and we have not encountered any slowdowns or uncertainties. The distribution of the keys is well thought out even if, as we have already said, it is suitable for rather small hands. The left and right keys require very little pressure to be operated, as well as the lateral ones. This could be a con for many users. The wheel has Instead good feedback and, despite the particular aesthetics, it is easily controllable.
Across the software GravaStar you can set macros, save custom profiles and manage lighting. The autonomy is surprising: The mouse can last about 60 hours with the lighting on. Alternatively, you can use the mouse in wired mode.
