After the good results of the second season, the Halo show could be renewed for season 3 soon
After a first season that didn't live up to expectations, Halo is definitely back on track with the arrival of the second season and now fans of the show are expecting Paramount renew the series for a Season 3. The second season of Halo began with excellent viewership for its first episodes, reaching third place in the Nielsen ratings of original series, with 354 million minutes watched in the first four days.
Worth noting, as a note of colour, is the large gap between season 2 of Halo and the first two series in the ranking: Netflix's Griselda (735 million minutes) and Amazon's Mr. & Mrs. Smith (765 million minutes); however, Halo remained ahead of a field that included (at the time) Reacher – Season 2 (314 million minutes), The Crown (238 million minutes) e Percy Jackson and the Olympians (227 million minutes).
Halo: renewal for season 3 in the pipeline?
Will there be room for a third season? The Halo precedent suggests yes, because it ended with a ending that took us to the place fans have long desired (the Halo ring), and now there is nothing left to do but wonder if this is the beginning of a new adventure. Will the series get renewed for a third season?
The series takes place in the fictional universe that made its debut in 2001 with the launch of the first Halo game for Xbox, becoming one of the most popular video game franchises ever. Bringing to the screen an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, the live-action series from Paramount+ weaves together intimate stories of warriors on the front lines with action, adventure and a highly visionary vision of the future. We will see the new updates relating to the possible third series of Halo.
