Helbiz is the world’s leading company in the field of micromobilità urbana, and has decided to expand to the United States of America. He intends to achieve this by launching the scooter fleet in the city of Durham, in North Carolina.
They will be deployed up to 150 monopattini, safe and innovative. The company will also begin to promote the responsible and informed use of vehicles in the city. Citizens with low incomes will be able to take advantage of some discounts, through a program dedicated to them.
Helbiz’s expansion into the United States
They are also planned collaborations with universities to ensure access to scooter rides for students. As happens in every city where Helbiz operates, the company will open a local office and a warehouse, so as to effectively manage operations in the area.
A team of collaborators will be hired to ensure that the vehicles are always loaded, properly maintained and sanitized in order to prevent contagion from Covid – 19.
