Something is cooking in the forges of Kojima Productions: this was confirmed by the designer himself, who in an interview with Famitsu confirmed that the studio is working on two different projects. Not much is known about the two games in question at the moment, but Hideo Kojima revealed some really interesting details regarding their production values. Let’s take a look at what we know.
Hideo Kojima is working on two new games
The father of Metal Gear e di Death Stranding gets talked about again, this time during an interview with the editorial staff of Famitsu, the famous Japanese magazine dedicated to technology and video games. Just recently Kojima tickled fans with artwork posted on Twitter, but now the official confirmation has arrived that the designer is working on two new games.
The two projects, according to the little information revealed by Kojima, would be very different from each other, both in terms of production values and in terms of the spirit that animates the productions. On the one hand, in fact, we have a title defined by the designer as particularly important, which suggests a triple A of the caliber of Death Stranding, of which it could be a sequel.
On the other hand, we have a video game whose development, according to the game designer, would be one challenge, which reveals the outlines of a project with peculiar characteristics; products that among other things are Hideo Kojima’s daily bread. It is difficult to imagine what it could be, except that in all likelihood we will find ourselves facing a completely new IP.
Finally, the creative wanted to specify that in the future he intends to experiment with other media outside the video game, trying to break down the barriers that separate the various entertainment sectors. A will that was already partly evident in Death Stranding and that it will be interesting to see on which road the game designer’s studio will lead.
