You will therefore all be running around the most famous magic academy in the world, in the role of a young wizard who precedes the deeds of the famous wizard by a hundred years. How can the Patronus be unlocked in Hogwarts Legacy?
One of the spells best known by fans of the franchise is the Patronum Charm (perhaps you remember it more with its magic formula, Expecto Patronum), a spell that evokes precisely a Patronus, force of positive energy that catalyzes happy memories of the wizard who uses it and which acts as a protection against dark magic. Generally, Patrons take the form of an animal, otherwise they are lights or silvery mists. It is therefore a very powerful spell, but equally difficult to cast as it is based on one’s own subjectivity: sensations and happy memories are not the same for all witches and wizards, obviously.

The question that many of the fans have been wondering since the announcement of the game is quite specific, but of vital importance: can you unlock your Patronus in Hogwarts Legacy? The answer is: unfortunately, currently, no. And this is very strange, considering that in a trailer released before the release of the game, a Professor had clearly been seen giving shape to a Patronus. Considering everything, it is very possible that the idea has been left on the sidelines for a future DLC, or at least we hope so. However, it was Warner Bros itself that confirmed the absence of the Patronuses from Hogwarts Legacy, with a Tweet from a few days ago that you can find below.

As many know, on the official Harry Fan Club website it is possible to be assigned a House of belonging and a Magic Wand, both traits which are then transferable to Hogwarts Legacy by connecting to the game. On the same site it is also possible to take the quiz to be assigned a Patronus, but unfortunately everything will remain anchored to that platform. We seriously hope Warner Bros considers adding the Patronum Charm to Hogwarts Legacy in the near future, perhaps even just as a fan treat.
What a disappointment…
