Accio port-ability: the magic of Hogwarts Legacy is unleashed with the first gameplay material for the late Nintendo Switch version
Although it has become the last wheel of the wagon due to technical needs (and it is in good company), finally Hogwarts Legacy manages to get onto platform 9 and ¾ per Nintendo Switch and we even have some native gameplay to prove it. The open world action role-playing game has already been covered, documented in our guides and even reviewed (twice) some time ago on other platforms, but the wait is over. The American branch of the Kyoto Colossus has published a trailer to promote its very personal version of the game, and contrary to the predictions of the fatalists (as well as the detractors) the mechanism appears well oiled as of now. We leave you to consult the video below, without further ado.
Nintendo makes “Lumos” on the Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy: finally some gameplay!
We had already seen screenshots of the game previously, but seeing everything in action helps us understand how many compromises have been made to allow the title to accompany us even when we are away from home (or on the train, better yet!) on the hybrid of wonders. Some details have been lost from the current-gen and PC versions, but that’s on its own merits the port seems to be doing great. The game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox One. It is expected to arrive on the portable and fixed platform in equal measure next Tuesday, the November 14th. We would meet you in Hagrid’s presence, but in the era in which the game is set he had not yet been born…
